Breast Care and Breast Massage: Not only for Cancer patients

Breast Massage?

Breast Massage therapy is an effective ‘wellness’ treatment for breasts, as breasts particularly need good circulation and tissue mobilization for optimum health. Poor circulation can produce various uncomfortable symptoms. Breast scarring (surgically and traumatically induced), which is more common than we often realize, can cause painful syndromes and obstruct blood and lymph flow.

The weight of breasts can affect posture, with increasing tension in the neck, shoulder, upper back and chest. Trigger point, muscle contraction, inflammation and nerve impingement's can refer pain to the breasts. Due to these considerations, treatments begin with Manual Lymphatic Drainage to neck and underarms to promote drainage of the breasts, the continue with massage in the neck, chest and upper back regions.

Regular breast massage, coupled with monthly self breast examinations, is a good way to check your breasts for changes and irregularities. Breast and chest massage can be incorporated into a full body massage as well as focused sessions.

Value of Breast care and message

Breast and chest massage releases muscle tension in the chest, encourages easier breathing, decreases neck tension and encourages blood and lymph flow. It is an effective part of treatment for shoulder, head and neck injuries. Effective in reducing scar tissue, relieving lymphatic congestion, recovery from breast mastechtomy, reduction, augmentation, painful swelling during menstruation and lactation difficulties.

Toxic buildup in the body can increase the chance of obstructing healthy circulation in the breasts, increasing the chance of developing cancer. Breast massage and manual lymphatic drainage stimulates the drainage of the lymphatic system, which eliminates harmful waste products allowing nutrient-rich blood to travel to the breast tissue. Breast and chest massage can also support overall mind body and spiritual well being.

The continuous deep tissue pressure you are able to deliver with your feet covers much larger areas at once than your hands. The foot is broad and makes the compression smooth and sumptuous not bony or prodding like using an elbow, thumb or massage tool. The consistent pressure is easily maintained hour after hour. Consumers feel like they got a 2 hour deep tissue massage in about 40 minutes. They get relieve from chronic inflammation faster than that of a normal massage.

Always Professional and I leave feeling great.
